Teaching & Learning Building

Located on the Green Heart in the centre of the Birmingham University campus
Postcode: B15 2SB

The new Teaching & Learning Building is located in the heart of the Birmingham University campus. Opened in February 2020, the new facility comprises a superb suite of contemporary lecture theatres, meeting rooms, and open areas designed to support learning and communication, all of which provides the perfect backdrop for our teaching weekend.

There is level access, lift, and sloped walkaways, wide entrances to meeting rooms and theatres and there is also free high-speed WiFi throughout the building.

Lecture Theatre

Our main teaching sessions will take place in one of the spacious, purpose-built lecture theatres, which provide a bright, engaging space for learning with comfortable, well-laid out seating and with built-in power sockets (standard & USB) on all of the desks for charging your laptops and mobile devices.

The parallel sessions will be located in the smaller meeting rooms which are situated close to the lecture theatre and we will make use of the refectory and spacious breakout areas for our breaks and lunches during the meeting.
