The meeting takes place in the Mathematical Institute which is situated on Woodstock Road just 2 mins walk from St Anne’s College and conveniently located on the local public transport routes. The institute opened in October 2013 and boasts a range of excellent lecture theatres and meeting rooms which will be used to support the teaching sessions during the weekend.
There are frequent services to Oxford from many parts of the country should you choose to travel by coach or rail.
If you are travelling from Heathrow, there is a direct coach service available to Oxford.
The Gloucester Green coach station and the mainline railway station are 15-20 minutes walk away from the Mathematical Institute and St Anne’s College.
We regret that neither St Anne’s College or The Mathematical Institute can offer on-site parking. The public car parking available in Oxford city centre is limited and expensive, so if you choose to drive to the meeting we strongly recommend using the Pear Tree Park and Ride facility.
The 300 bus route runs every 10 – 12 minutes from Pear Tree and stops on Woodstock Road almost immediately outside the entrance to the Mathematical Institute, (Radcliffe Infirmary Stop).
Please see the map to the left for the locations of the Mathematical Institute and St Anne’s College or click below for further information on the transport options listed above.
